The museum board shall consist of seven members. The members shall be appointed by the mayor with the approval of the city council for a term of four years. The current members of the museum board shall continue serving until the expiration of their terms in accordance with their appointment under Ordinance 2199. Museum board members must be residents of Fidalgo or Guemes Island, the majority of whom shall be residents of city of Anacortes. Each member shall be appointed in accordance with the museum by-laws. Upon vacancy, the mayor shall appoint a board member to fill the unexpired portion of the term. (Ord. 2638, 2003; Ord. 2395 § 3, 1996)
