In the event that landscaping improvements cannot be installed prior to a formal certificate of occupancy, a cash deposit, letter of credit or other assurance acceptable to the city equal to 150 percent of the estimated construction costs must be required. Such deposit must be accompanied by a letter which stipulates completion of all landscape development no later than the next autumn planting season following issuance of the certificate of occupancy or date of final approval, whichever is later.
