The owner or owners of each parcel of real estate within the corporate limits of the city on which any roof drain, foundation drain or cooling water system, or any other storm water system or surface water system is connected to the sanitary sewer system shall disconnect such connection with the sanitary sewer system at the owner’s expense within the one hundred eighty days of being notified either personally or by certified mail of such connection. Failure to disconnect as required herein shall be a violation of this chapter. (Ord. 2078 § 3, 1988)
