The public works and/or park’s director shall issue the special events permit once the application has been approved by the city council and the applicant has agreed in writing to comply with the terms and conditions of the permit as well as the sections of this chapter dealing with indemnification, insurance, fees for city services, and cleanup deposits, when applicable.
