Any person becoming aware of any dead domestic animal, owned or non-owned, on said person’s property, shall immediately contact the animal control officer, and make arrangements to properly dispose of the carcass.

A. No person shall bury, dump, or otherwise dispose of an animal carcass on public property, or on private property without the authorization of the property owner.

B. The animal control officer shall make available upon request the address and telephone number of local disposal services for use by the public. (Ord. 2955 Att. A, 2015)
