Any person violating or failing to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter, or who knowingly provides any false statement in his application for license, upon conviction thereof, shall be guilty of a crime which shall be punishable by imprisonment for up to 90 days or shall be fined up to $1,000 or both such fine and imprisonment.
