In order to effect better financial control on any and varying deposits given to and held in trust by the city for either eventual retention by the city or return to the depositor, there is established a separate fund entitled deposit trust fund. The fund custodian shall be the city clerk-treasurer. A separate account will be established at a local bank in the name of the city entitled “Deposit Trust Account - City of Anacortes.” (Ord. 1788 § 1, 1979)
