The city may enter into contracts with third-party investment advisory firms when their services are deemed to be beneficial to the city. The advisor must comply with the investment policy and may have authority to transact investments on behalf of the city. The advisor may only act on a non-discretionary basis and is not allowed to invest without the approval of the treasurer or investment officer. (Ord. 2937 § 1, 2014)
