A. As authorized by RCW 35A.40.020, payment of claims or obligations of the city are by check instead of warrant.

B. As authorized by RCW 35A.40.030, the qualified public depository upon which checks are drawn must be specified by resolution of the city council.

C. Two authorized signatures are required on all checks. Authorized signatories are the mayor, mayor pro tem when acting as the mayor, the clerk-treasurer, and the deputy clerk-treasurer. (Ord. 2956 § 1 (Att. A), 2015)
