The mayor shall call an organizational meeting of the initial directors of the authority within thirty days of the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter, by providing at least three days' advance written notice to each director. Notice of the organizational meeting also shall be provided to those persons and entities entitled to receive notice of special meetings of the city in the manner required by state law. At the organizational meeting, the board shall organize itself, appoint officers, adopt bylaws and take such other actions as may be necessary or appropriate. The bylaws of the authority shall be consistent with the charter and, in case of a conflict, the charter shall control. (Ord. 2598 § 6, 2002)
