Planting, removal, replacement and maintenance of all street trees shall conform to standards in the material labeled “standards for street tress within the city of Anacortes.” These standards will be developed/maintained by the street tree advisory committee and approved by the city council. These standards shall cover recommended tree types, recommended methods for planting, recommended criteria for tree removal/priming, recommended alternatives to tree removal and recommended maintenance procedures.
