Each member of the Anacortes city council shall be paid the amount approved by ordinance as compensation for performance of his or her duties as a city councilmember for the city after discussion of recommendations by the city council personnel committee. Editor’s note: Ord. No. 2869, § 4, adopted Jan. 17, 2012, provides that for the period between the effective date of Ordinance 2708 and the effective date hereof, any conflict between the provisions of Ordinance 2708 and the provisions Chapter 2.32 shall be resolved in favor of the application of Ordinance 2708.
