The city clerk-treasurer is authorized to appoint and employ a deputy in the office of the city clerk-treasurer in accordance with Chapter 35.23 RCW now or as hereafter amended. Written notification of such appointment shall be made promptly to the mayor. (Ord. 2835 § 2, 2010; Ord. 1045 § 1, 1949)
