In all cases where a connection with the public sewer requires the cutting into or removing of any portion of any pavement, whether concrete or bituminous, in addition to any and all other charges, there shall be paid to the city in advance the sum of fifty dollars to cover the cost of restoring said pavement to its original and proper condition, which amount, upon collection, shall be credited to the street department fund and the street department shall replace the pavement. Said charge for replacing pavement shall be paid before a permit for connection is issued. (Ord. 1150 § 14, 1954)
