A. Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, the maximum speed of vehicles on all streets and avenues is twenty-five miles per hour, and in all alleys is fifteen miles per hour.

B. The maximum speeds declared in this chapter have been determined upon the basis of engineering and traffic investigation.

C. It is unlawful for any person to drive a vehicle at a speed in excess of any speed declared in this chapter.

D. Violation of this chapter is a civil infraction. (Ord. 2945 § 1, 2015)
