A. Except when otherwise provided, in computing any time period prescribed or allowed by this code, the day of the act, event, or default from which the designated time period begins to run is excluded. The last day of the period is included unless it is a Saturday, a Sunday, or a legal holiday, in which case the period runs until the end of the next day which is neither a Saturday, a Sunday, nor a legal holiday. When the time period prescribed or allowed is less than seven days, intermediate Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays are excluded from the computation.

B. The legal holidays identified in RCW 1.16.050 are legal holidays for the purpose of this section. (Ord. 2992 § 1 (Att. A), 2016; Ord. 1855 § 7, 1981)
